Reports to Planning Manager/Supervisor on work progress/status
Plan the flow of material and work order for manufacturing
Exercise excellent inventory control discipline by utilizing existing material and ensuring transaction and changes are correctly applied
Provide fast and accurate response to queries from Sales
Take effective make/buy decision considering cost and delivery
Perform detail work scope, planning, scheduling, sub-contracting and execution as well as identifying and acquiring all required resources and be responsible for on time delivery
Undertake regular parameter on PO status and monitor delivery to ensure order on time
Monitor the progress of manufacturing and capacity constraints while maintaining a realistic schedule to minimize overloads both in-house and outside vendors
Requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
Preferably with minimum 2 years experience in operations planning in similar manufacturing industry
Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Analytical and hands-on
