Design, publish, implement and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for products and projects according to customer requirements and Company standards.
Review mill certificates for incoming materials
Conduct pre-shipment inspection
Collect relevant records and reports (e.g. Non destructive examination reports), and key these data into system.
Facilitate projects by working with customers, Third Party Inspectors and operational personnel to develop & review ITPs, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Requests (CARs), Data Book and other quality related documentations as required.
Maintain and ensure the quality system is kept current to audit status, government regulations, industry standards and Customer requirements.
Ensure that the quality assurance and quality control programs are reviewed and revised to reflect the currency of activities.
Establish standards and best practices, and verify quality systems through internal audits.
Requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering or Quality Management or equivalent
At least 3 - 5 years of experience in heavy manufacturing environment, preferably in fabrication/ welding environment
Good working knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Analysis tools
Background in oil and gas or shipbuilding industry would be advantageous
Good written and verbal English communication skills
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications]
Able to start work immediately/short notice period
