Line of Reporting
Report all matters concerning work, welfare and discipline to the MD.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of 3 Accounts Assistants
Handling Full sets of accounts.
Ensure financial statements and monthly accounting reports are properly prepared, maintained, analyzed accurately for Management’s review.
Cash-flow planning and banking management.
Perform financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting.
Liaise with external auditors, bankers, solicitors etc., in ensuring compliance with all accounting, taxation, statutory and legislative requirements.
Prepare GST returns.
Prepare monthly billings and issuance of receipts for monthly and leasing vehicles.
Handle Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Sundry debtors.
Perform bank reconciliations.
Handle Payroll.
Prepare year-end accounts and schedules.
Handle filing for all documents and all matters in relation to the Accounts Department.
Purchase of New Vehicle
- Assist in documentation for purchases of new vehicles with car dealers.
- Source, co-ordinate in purchase of PARF paper.
- Co-ordinate with banks for release letters, insurance brokers for cover notes, etc.
- Handle all payments & receipts of refund &/or rebates for new vehicles.
Vehicle installation for new cars
- Check all documents in relation to the purchases of new vehicles.
- Check all bank documents & file invoices, HP agreements, etc in the respective HP
Files
Prepare the journals with the appropriate supporting documents and narrations of the reasons for the journal before posting to the system
All other tasks stipulated by GM or MD
