Job Responsibilities:

• Chartering of Bulk Carriers, Tug and Barges
• Liaising with Shipping agents, masters, Charterers, Shippers, Consignees to handle all vessel issues
• Occasional Trading in Coal, Iron ore and other bulk commodities

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or diploma in marine
• At least 2 years experience in the freight brokerage industry 
• Strong prioritizing skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
• Self-managed & able to perform job requirements with minimum supervision 
• Geographical knowledge of shippers/consignees, economic trends, preferred 
• Experience in trading of coal, iron ore and other bulk commodities preferred
• Identify leverage points for customer price and volume negotiations while protecting the relationships
• Computer Skills – Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Professional appearance & demeanor
• Excellent oral & written skills
• Decision Making - Collects the required data to balance long, medium and short-term objectives when making decisions
• Client Skills - Understands client needs, anticipates changes and responds appropriately. Able to persuade clients to accept reasonable solutions

• Location: Simei (Jalan Kuang)
• Salary: $2500 - $3000
• Work Week: 5.5 days 
• (Mon – Fri, 9am to 6pm), (Sat, 9am – 12pm)
