  • Responsibilities

    To manage the procurement of goods and services, strategizing to source for the most cost effective and best valued vendor. Details as follows:-

     

    Procurement (In-Direct)

    • Responsible for managing the implementation of Indirect Procurement initiatives at country level
    • Responsible for establishing a close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders in order to provide solutions that support the stakeholders’ requirement.
    • Lead the procurement process i.e. spend and capital expenditure from opportunity assessment, data gathering, market analysis, sourcing, negotiation, vendor selection
    • Deploy cross-functional team approach by collaborating closely with regional, global counterparts and functional experts in execution of category management strategy.
    • Manage and negotiate contracts together with Legal Department

     

    Stakeholder Management

    • Govern the execution of Global Procurement Policy, ensuring that the policy is best adapting to local requirements in terms of business, culture, legal, regulatory and economics from time to time.
    • Responsible for briefing the stakeholders (internal customers) on deployment plans, activities, timelines and their respective roles & responsibilities.
    • Evaluate suppliers’ capabilities together with stakeholders on quarterly basis.

     

    General Affairs

    • Provide support for general affairs and facilities/office assets management (renovation, office equipment, electricity, water, aircon, housekeeping, etc)
    • Keeping record of office assets, inventory controls, etc
    • Support Monthly Town Hall, Meetings, company events & office maintenance.
    • Coordinate group visit from overseas guest for logistics & hotel stay
    • Settlement assistances for expatriate secondment such as housing, vehicle, education, etc

     

    Training

    • Ensure regular training to new employees on GP guidelines and policies.
    • Provide training to internal stakeholders and vendors on utilizing company’s internal General Procurement System

     

     

    Requirements

    • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree with specialization in Procurement or its equivalent
    • Min 2 to 3 years of experience in procurement functions and administrative support
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Possess good negotiation skills, excellent project management & planning skills with analytical experience to deliver both initial and final steps of the sourcing process.
    • Highly proficient in English communication (both verbal and written)
    • Strong coordination, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
    • Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
