  • Responsibilities

    • To lead the Corporate Marketing team to plan and implement marketing programs including branding campaigns, new product launches, media planning, digital marketing, Ecommerce, PR, sponsorship, partner marketing and branding compliance across all Business Units (Consumer Electronics, IT, Air Con, Mobile Communications & B2B) for Singapore Domestic and Export Countries (Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, etc) – in a timely, cost effective and impactful manner to achieve ROI. Details as follows:-

     

    Branding and Campaign Management

    • Work with Business units to review NPI marketing plan including media plans to ensure marketing efficiency
    • Lead the development and implementation of digital and PR strategies for new product launches
    • Conceptualise and implement the through-the-line campaign for company’s Red Fairs that encompass all Business Units to achieve growth in sell-out during peak retail sales periods (GSS and Year-End)
    • Oversee the branding initiatives to increase company’s brand awareness and preference
    • Ensure brand compliance of marketing communications (including but not limited to ATL, BTL, digital, events, in-store, internal communications, customer service) to meet the HQ monitoring criteria

     

    PR, Digital Marketing, Ecommerce, Media Planning

    • Lead the digital marketing strategy encompassing company and retailers’ websites, CRM, SNS, SEM, SEO, GDN and content syndication (Flixmedia)
    • Manage the online marketing operations of Ecommerce
    • Spearhead digital campaigns to meet KPIs by driving online traffic, growing customer database, optimizing conversion and improving online customer engagement
    • Develop strategic communication programs, manage and grow relationships with media and influencers, handle press releases, and execute press interviews and events to grow positive earned coverage and achieve PR value targets
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across business units and PR agency in handling media enquiries and reporting to HQ
    • Oversee the media planning for new product launches and sustenance programs to ensure efficacy of media spend and advertising impact

     

    Sponsorship & Partner Marketing

    • Establish new collaboration with strategic partners to increase company’s brand equity, awareness and preference; expand customer reach to promote company products and boost customer acquisition
    • In charge of corporate sponsorship and the effective utilization of entitlements such as content management of OOH
    • Identify and assess suitable sponsorship opportunities that are aligned with marketing objectives

     

    Budget Management & Reporting, Agency Management

    • Manage corporate marketing budget to ensure moving plan accuracy, cost efficiency for marketing activities, timely processing of invoices and closure of marketing plan in APMS
    • Conduct regular reporting to local subsidiary’s management and HQ on marketing plans and the achievement of KPIs
    • Maximize the value from all Marketing vendors and agencies, and ensure that all agency partners are working to the objectives, brief and guidelines set according to company’s marketing goals and brand identity guidelines

     

    Requirement

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or its equivalent
    • Min 6 to 8 years of Marketing Communications within large global blue chip organizations
    • With experience in both ‘Consumer’ and ‘Retail’ marketing is preferred, ideally in the White Goods or Consumer Electronics Sector
    • PR, Digital Marketing and Ecommerce experience is considered crucial to the role.
    • Significant experience of working within a matrix operation involving centralized and de-centralized decision making and guidelines is considered a great asset to the role.
    • Assertive with a clear track record of delivering effective Marketing Communication Program as well as strong ability to influence people at all levels both internally and externally.
    • Highly proficient in verbal and written English communication
    • Strong coordination, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
