REQUIREMENTS:

Professional Certificate (e.g. NITEC / Diploma) in any of the hard sciences
Between 2 to 5 years of postgraduate industry experience.
Hands-on experience in service & repair of major brands of industrial vacuum pumps (wet & 
dry) is preferred e.g. Edwards, Leybold, Busch, Pfeiffer, Adixen
Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
Able to communicate effectively in English
Must be willing to work Overtime, be on Standby 24/7 (rotation), and travel overseas

DUTIES:

1. On-site & workshop hands-on repair of
2. Industrial vacuum pumps, including: install, test, troubleshoot, rectify & servicerepair, maintenance work
3. Low temp refrigeration systems & precision chillers, including: install, test, troubleshoot, rectify & service-repair, & maintenance 
4. Prepare service & appraisal reports and correspondence
5. Communicate & manage customer’s expectations
6. Take initiative in improving work processes & developing new methods, procedures, approaches to problem solving
7. Promote safety, assist in improving and ensuring workplace safety
8. Continuously improve own product knowledge, technical knowledge, competence and skills
