- Min Deg/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or it's equivalent
- Several years of experience in the electronics supply chain industry preferably with a lead buyer duty
- Good communication skills ( both spoken / written) The ability to communicate in German will be an added advantage
- Frequent travelling is required.
- Implementation of new sourcing strategies within the electronics material group
- Initiation of supplier selection processes and leading selection projects within a global cross-functional team
- Creation and development of a preferred suppliers pool for our global R&D teams to meet cost, quality and performance targets and risk management goal
- Negotiation of prices and logistics agreements and global contracts for our global manufacturing network
- Supplier Management and Qualification: forecasting & demand planning, monitoring and reporting (supplier assessment) as well as supplier development.
