REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum a diploma/ Degree in any Optometry from a recognised college (e.g. Singapore Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic)
Must be fully registered with OOB
At least 3 years of experience as optometrist
Detailed orientated and high level of accuracy
Strong technical knowledge and passionate about Optics
Able to commit retail hours
Able to work on weekends and public holidays
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills

DUTIES:

Perform eye examinations using specialised equipment to check patients ocular health and diagnose symptoms of any general health conditions or any vision defects
Communicate with patients to get detailed case histories
Provide patients with professional advice on product, service related quiries, complaints and feedbacks
Keep and maintain detailed patient records of their eye health and purchases
Issue prescription for contact lenses, displaying good product knowledge when explaining the features of the contact lens
Dispense and manage the inventory of contact lenses, trials and solutions
Coach first time contact lens wearer how to insert, remove and care for their contact lenses
Supervise and train new or younger Optometrists, Opticians and Sales Executives
Maintain all equipment and measuring devices to be in good working condition
Ensure smooth running of daily shop operations and Adhoc duties
