    • Min. Diploma holder in any discipline.
    • Possess Advance Certificate on Workplace Safety & Health.
    • Possess Risk Assessment Certificate.
    • Prefer experience in Shipyard
    • Computer literacy in word, Excel, and Power Point.
    • Good communication, reading and writing skills.
    • A good leader and quick decision maker.
    • Basic knowledge in first aid.
    1. Perform job site analysis, determine employee exposure, and institute safe work procedures.
    2. Responsible for identifying health and safety hazards and recommending corrective actions.
    3. Conduct Safety Orientation training to new employees about emergency response, safety policies, safety work procedures and practices as well as prevailing laws and regulations.
    4. Conduct accident/incidents investigations.
    5. Conduct operation site safety meeting / tool box meeting.
    6. Documentation/permit to work preparation to the relevant customer/client.
    7. Ensure compliance to WSH Acts and regulations.
    8. Responsible on the preparation/maintenance of the WSH/Risk Assessment record.
    9. Liaise closely with site operations staff and Project Manager on all safety issues.
    10. Advice and update on all matters pertaining to Work Safety and Health.
    11. Knowledge of modern safety principles, practices, and methods, the applicable occupational health and safety laws, rules, and regulations, and the determinants of working hazards or working conditions which are injurious to the health or safety of employees.
    12. Establishing and maintaining effective working relations with operational crews and main contractor.
    13. The primary function of my position is to identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and/or damage property by adhering to safety standards, best management practices, and safe work procedure practices.
    14. Prepare documents and permits prior to operations.
    15. Oversees operations and ensure that equipment’s and crews are complying with MOM/WSH act and regulations.
    16. Safe keeping and documenting all safety documents and forms. Updating all new and revised WSH regulations.
    17. Conduct investigation and write report on all incident/accident happened at the internal or external (client/customer) sites.
    18. Attend to daily safety related matters
