• Primary School Environment
• Monday to Friday (Half Day)
• 1 year contract (provision to extend for another 6 months)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Science teaching & learning resources based on
  • Workbook Requirements
  • Teaching needs e.g. pull out plant model display when the P3s are learning about plants to be showcased in the lab
• Maintain cleanliness of the two labs and the equipment, including sanitizing the items and learning surfaces after each use
• Feed the fish in the aquaponics system both indoor and outdoor
• Feed the fish in the school pond
• Stock-take of equipment at least twice a year
• Assist in the inventory taking when the external audit asset team comes by
• Assist teacher in the lab during lab sessions if required
• Look into the display and loaning of science books to the students on an ad-hoc basis, either in lab or in the canteen
• Help to assist in the recess activities during science department events such as integrated learning week
• Help to assist during science practical test days, will be required to work longer on some days and July to prepare and to assist during the days. (Up till 2.30pm, 2 – 3 days pior and after the practical test days)

Requirements:

• Min GCE ‘O’ or ‘A’ Level
• Have basic science knowledge
• Neat and meticulous when handling lab equipment

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays: 9:00am to 12:30pm, not inclusive of lunch break
• Tuesdays to Fridays: 8:00am to 12:30pm, not inclusive of lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays, school holidays and the month of November.
