Responsibilities

• To lead the local team and be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations in London, New Zealand, Japan & Canada
• Responsible for statutory and management reporting for the region, budgeting and forecasting, cash management, cash forecast, tax matters, and etc
• Maintain good liaison with internal and external auditors to ensure full compliance with accounting standards and listing rules
• To undertake ad-hoc assignments from time to time

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance preferably with CA/ CPA qualification or its equivalent
• Minimum 7 to 10 years prior experience preferably in the same industry with regional exposure
• Previous experience working in a Big 4 audit firm will be an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting and familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards 
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Good enterprise spirit and acumen
• Highly motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
• IT savvy with hands-on experience in Yardi software preferred
• Demonstrated leadership ability & confidence to motivate staff and lead a team
• Overseas travelling required - one to two times per year
