  • REQUIREMENTS:

    Degree with at least 5 to 8 years of experience in similar capacity
    Team player with good interpersonal skills
    Able to adapt to changes and work under pressure
    Conversant in golf operations, golf rules and bye laws
    Assertive, tactful and treats all staff fairly and professionally
    Able to work on weekends & public holiday

    DUTIES:

    Manage day-to-day operations and decision making for Golf Division - all golf related facilities including Sky Range, Pro Shop and Vendors
    Ensure that staff are effectively and efficiently motivated to executed in accordance with the Resort's objectives, policies and usage requirements to attain Division FY targets
    Consult, liaise and coordinate with the internal support divisions and committees on all golfing matters and carry out directions of management, General Committee and/or including those of other sub committees e.g. greens, handicap, editorial and disciplinary as may be necessary. Attend meetings and prepare minutes for the meeting as may be necessary. Inform committee, members and staff on Resort and Management decisions.
    Plan, coordinate and implementation of golf activities such as competitions and functions in the Resort with the various divisions on complementary functions.
    Advise, educate and train subordinate staff on application systems, golf rules, Bye laws and on the proper manner and methods on the use of Resort equipment and facilities, how to correlate with and handle members' queries and requirements.  Ensure all direct reports staff are trained and operational ready and are able cover each other’s duty if need arises;
    License the operations of the tenants under golf operations (i.e. golf academy, halfway house, pro-shop and club repair shop).  Plan and coordinate their activities with golf operations teams.
    Ensure the timely preparation of the annual budget for Golf Division and see to the smooth and effective implementation of programmes, keeping up with the latest development and innovations in the golfing field.
    Conduct regular reviews of golf operations policies & procedures to ensure they are updated and current.
    Conversant with all Golfing Rules, Byelaws and local rules and deal with all reports, complaints, correspondence with members on rules, violations and handicaps. Informing, guiding and educating members/staff on such rules and etiquette. Enforce the Bye Laws, golf rules and etiquettes of the Resort
