Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Function
- Checking and posting of AP invoice/payment entries & journal entries
- Prepare monthly standard and ad hoc journal and enter the journal into Navision module – General journal
Other Finance Function
- Prepare accounting & reporting pack – Flash report, Notes of PL, Notes of BS
- Prepare partial operational reports – Department PL, Outlets Contribution Reports etc.
- Monitor balance sheet items and follow up to clear outstanding items.
- Computation and enter product Royalties into Navision
- Prepare monthly Retail EOM
- Prepare monthly withholding tax submission to IRAS
- Involve in yearly department/division budget process
- Prepare yearly audit schedule and liaise with auditors on AP/GL related matters.
Supervisory/General Function
- Assist in supervising AP Executive and Accounts Assistant.
- Cover reception duty, as and when needed.
- Ad hoc jobs as assigned by superior.
Requirements
- Min Diploma / Degree in Accounting, or its equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadline condition
- A team player, meticulous & proactive with positive working attitude
- Good communication skills (both written & spoken)
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
