Job Responsibilities

• Drive the monthly close & cost accounting process of the product cost of the business
• Performs maintenance of the ERP system to support accumulation of cost accounting data
• Maintain controls in accordance with GAAP and company policies
• Follow GAAP procedures
• Handle all cost accounting responsibilities, monitoring and analysis of production costs’ variances
• Prepare journal entries, schedules and analysis in accordance with GAAP
• Participation in the Management Accounting month end close process
• Play an active role in the SAP implementation of the Plant
• Liaise with Auditors and Tax Agents on statutory requirements

Job Requirements

• Possess at least a ACCA/ Degree in Accountancy/ Diploma with CA certification or equivalent
• 3-6 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in SAP R3 or S4, those with experience in SAP implementation has an added advantage
• Knowledge of US GAAP and cost accounting is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office applications e.g. Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Able to start around March 2023
