Responsibilities

• Report to the directors of the company
• To oversee, lead and manage the deployment of the various teams in Singapore, China and Malaysia
• Ensure the smooth and efficient running of projects and overall operation of the company
• Plan and manage internal and external resources to ensure project PICs can complete projects on time, on budget and with good quality
• Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures to meet company’s goals
• Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing
• Work with Finance on budgeting and cost control, & with HR on the management, training and hiring of employees
• Support worker communication with the management team

Requirements

• Min Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant experience working in SMEs and/or subcontractor environment
• Experience in a multi-racial and multi-culture environment preferably in operations management for site installation of equipment in engineering companies or related fields
• Good understanding of general finance and budgeting
• Ability to build consensus and relationships among management, staff and business partners
• Prior experience in managing foreign workers will be an added advantage
• Good leadership with excellent communications & management skills
• Able to travel overseas for business trips, as and when required
