Responsibilities

• Operate manual lathe machines to produce components based on technical drawings or customer specifications.
• Set up and calibrate lathe machines by selecting appropriate tools, setting speeds, and ensuring optimal performance.
• Report any machine issues, defects, or malfunctions to supervisors.
• Ensure that materials are cut with minimal waste and to the highest standards of precision.

Requirements

• At least 2 years' experience as Manual Lathe Operator
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficient in using precision measurement tools, tools settings and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to work under pressure to meet production deadline.
